WWE announced Tuesday that former WWE World Heavyweight champion Roman Reigns has been suspended for a period of 30 days for his first violation of the company’s talent wellness policy.
Reigns commented regarding the suspension on Twitter shortly after:
I apologize to my family, friends and fans for my mistake in violating WWE’s wellness policy. No excuses. I own it.

Reigns will be eligible to compete in his Triple Threat match against Seth Rollins and current WWE World Heavyweight champion Dean Ambrose at Battleground since his suspension will be over by that time, but it has yet to be announced whether or not WWE will take that opportunity away from him.
