This week’s #WomenCrushWednesday is the MVP of SummerSlam weekend: Sasha Banks.
In a lineup of Finn Balor vs. Kevin Owens, John Cena vs. Seth Rollins and Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar, Banks’ championship battle against Bayley was the showstealer of three nights in Brooklyn.
She’s only 23 years old, she’s only been on the main roster for a little over a month, yet she’s captivated the wrestling world as the vanguard of the #DivasRevolution. Her brash sex appeal and superb in-ring skill have made her the breakout star of NXT’s Four Horsewomen.
Already making WWE history, Banks successfully defended the NXT Women’s Championship against Charlotte in the first all-female main event in house show history. More importantly, the fans rejoiced over the match because of the talented women and their dedication toward reigniting women’s wrestling to its 2000s glory years and beyond.
Is she ratchet? Hell no. She’s the Boss.
