As we celebrate the birth of the United States this week, it’s only fitting that we honor Mr. America, Hulk Hogan.
Let’s face it: The Hulkster is our nation’s greatest wrasslin’ defender. Slaying Andre the Giant, winning the WWE Championship from Iron Sheik, fighting off Kamala and Volkoff and Yokozuna…Hogan battled all of the foreign monsters in the name of the red, white, and blue.
Well, on this day in pro wrestling history, Hulk teamed up with one of his biggest fans, albeit Canadian: Edge. The popular duo challenged Billy & Chuck for the WWE Tag Team Titles on a Fourth of July episode of Smackdown.
