AJ Lee, the wife of CM Punk, has inherited an unfortunate attribute from her husband—she’s the subject of relentless rumors.

Once thought to be pregnant, and now rumored to drop the WWE Divas title to Nikki Bella at Survivor Series upon her departure from the company, I’m going to tell you why that is just as much bullshit as the former.

Dropping the belt to Nikki Bella? That should be your first indication to roll your eyes at the latest gossip. Lee losing the belt to Bella simply won’t happen, especially from a storyline standpoint.

After winning her match over her sister, Brie Bella, at Hell in a Cell, Nikki won the rights to Brie, where she must act as Nikki’s personal assistant for 30 days from the time of the win. This Sunday marks the 28th day, and if Brie sought to get any revenge on her sister—you know, the obvious progression of a storyline—she will stab Nikki in the back in the biggest match of her career, with the end result being that Lee retains her title.

So don’t worry. Your savior of the Divas division will keep her crown and defend it in a WWE ring for the foreseeable future.
