You know the drill: I am betting imaginary jellybeans for each match (based on Paddy Power’s odds) and keeping track of my “winnings.” I’m dividing my picks into three categories: 🔒Locks™, Solid Picks and Stay Aways. I will bet 10 jellybeans on the 🔒Locks™, five on the Solid Picks, and none on the Stay Aways.

Here are my WWE Survivor Series picks. Remember that I’m not necessarily picking the winner, but the one that I feel is the best bet.

Singles match

Brock Lesnar: 2/9 (-450)

Goldberg: 11/4 (+275)

Pick: Brock Lesnar
I’m praying there isn’t shenanigans that ruins this lock, but it seems unlikely. A dirty finish would lead to another match, and if this is going to be a trilogy, Lesnar has to win this one to pull even with Goldberg. Lesnar can’t lose clean to a part-timer.

Solid Picks

Survivor Series tag team elimination match

Team Raw (The New Day, The Club, Enzo & Cass, Sheamus & Cesaro and The Shining Stars): 4/11 (-275)

Team SmackDown (Heath Slater & Rhyno, The Usos, American Alpha, Breezango and The Hype Bros): 15/8 (+188)

Pick: Team SmackDown

I’m on record as saying American Alpha will dominate this match, and I also think this match will hint at how much longer New Day will hold the Raw belts. I’m guessing one of their teammates costs Raw this match by screwing New Day.

Survivor Series elimination match

Team SmackDown (AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose, Bray Wyatt, Randy Orton and Shane McMahon): 8/11 (-138)

Team Raw (Kevin Owens, Roman Reigns, Chris Jericho, Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman): 1/1 (+100)

Pick: Team Raw

I’ll throw some down on Raw here because they’re the (slight) underdogs even though they have the up-and-coming monster (Braun Strowman) and the guy who only loses clean after he fails a drug test (Roman Reigns). Hard to see that team losing between those two.

Stay Aways

Singles match for the Cruiserweight Championship

Kalisto: 1/4 (-400)

Brian Kendrick (c): 5/2 (+250)

Pick: Kalisto

With 205 Live set to premiere on the WWE Network soon, it seems likely that Kalisto will defeat the Wizard of Odd and take the Cruiserweight division to SmackDown.

Singles match for the Raw Intercontinental Championship

Sami Zayn: 3/10 (-333)

The Miz (c): 9/4 (+225)

Pick: Sami Zayn
I doubt any show gets both the Cruiserweights and the IC title, so Zayn it is. I wish I was more into this match.

Survivor Series elimination match

Team Raw (Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, Bayley, Nia Jax and Alicia Fox): 8/11 (-138)

Team SmackDown (Nikki Bella, Becky Lynch, Alexa Bliss, Naomi and Carmella): 1/1 (+100)

Pick: Team Raw
I’m thinking some combination of Bayley, Banks and Jax are the sole survivors here to set up a rivalry for No. 1 contendership for Charlotte’s belt. It would be nice to see Lynch have a nice showing.
