With Total Nonstop Action’s flagship program, Impact Wrestling, nearing the end of its television deal with Spike TV, all looked lost for the future of the company. I myself got worried, as I have worked for TNA a few months ago and looked forward to working with them again.
But just when the company that has been the second tier of wrestling for years looked to close its doors, President Dixie Carter announced on November 19 that TNA has found a new home with Destination America.
Proud to join the family! comes to in January! http://t.co/xmyk00Qcuf

Upon finding this out, I was ecstatic to see that Impact Wrestling will be on for at least a few more years, but was a bit confused as to why Destination America was the one to make the offer. Destination America, in my opinion, does not sound like a station that would air such programing as professional wrestling, but maybe they are trying to go in a new direction.
Destination America officially enters the ring with Impact Wresting in January 2015. The series features some of the biggest names in professional wrestling, including Jeff and Matt Hardy, Bobby Roode, Kurt Angle, Bobby Lashley, and Gail Kim.
With a ton of TNA veterans such as Austin Aries, Ethan Carter III, and Eric Young—mixed in with a few WWE veterans such as MVP and Ken Anderson—Impact Wresting will be a show I will continue watching into the new year, due to its original programing and differences from the WWE, that are far and beyond better in my mind.
