Reminiscent of last Monday night, Roman Reigns stood tall Friday as SmackDown went off the air.

Reigns was pitted against Kane, after spearing the Big Red Machine on Raw following a post-match attack on John Cena, Sheamus and Alberto Del Rio.

Reigns leveled Kane with a Superman Punch, setting up a spear. But as Reigns waited for Kane to get up, Randy Orton interfered and attacked Reigns.

Orton stomped Reigns in the corner and went to help Kane up. After Orton turned around, Reigns hit Orton with a Superman punch of his own. Kane followed that up with a Chokeslam to Reigns.

With Reigns down and Orton in the corner, Kane brought a ladder into the ring, set it up under the WWE World Heavyweight Championship belts and allowed Orton to climb it as a symbol of  his allegiance to The Authority.

Orton took the titles and held them to the crowd. Reigns started to get up and Orton set up for kick to his face. But as Orton charged, Reigns dropped him with a spear. Kane attempted to attack Reigns, but was also met with a spear.

The show ended with Reigns holding the belts to the crowd, a moment that could be replayed this Sunday at Money in the Bank.
