In 2001, Vince McMahon promised to inject the WWE with a “lethal dose of poison.” He surprised wrestling fans worldwide when he announced that the poison of choice would be Scott Hall, Kevin Nash and Hulk Hogan—the NWO.

Nash reportedly stated yesterday that he will be on tonight’s edition of Raw—along with Hall—as part of a birthday celebration for Hogan. This comes after a week of cryptic tweets by the three that led speculation about a reunion.

It’s still unclear in what capacity the three will work, but fans are excited about the “reunion” of sorts—just as they were in 2001, when the trio debuted in the company at the No Way Out pay-per-view.
